Birding is what I do when I desperately need a break from the current madness. They want to wear us down, to exhaust us. So we need to use whatever we enjoy doing to keep our strength and our joy up. Things are crazy here as well. New England seems to be a destination place for those who make a living rounding up people who should be left alone.
