I highly recommend Ed Zitron's writings on AI - his theory is that it's a scam that is harming tech, creators (because it can't train without theft of copyrighted works), tech employees, and the environment.
Exactly. Have you read about how they're firing up Three Mile Island again so Microsoft can power its AI? And to do what? It's an elaborate spell check or a design nightmare machine. There are good uses, like data analysis in medicine and scientific research. But this weird rush to "adopt AI" by corporations is ill-advised, from what I'm seeing.
